Smoothie Sunday: Canteloupe Banana Smoothie



Ok, so I bought a canteloupe which was a bit mediocre and I didn't want to eat it plain because the taste was a bit disappointing. So I decided to make it into a smoothie rather than waste the fruit. I was actually quite pleased with the result. Just enough canteloupe flavor came through, even though it wasn't a great specimen, enhanced by the banana and other flavors. Yum!


Canteloupe Banana Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
1 banana, frozen and sliced
1/2 canteloupe or 1 cup sliced canteloupe bits
2 teaspoons ground flaxseed
2 teaspoons agave nectar
1 cup ice

DIRECTIONS
Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth.
