My blender broke. While completely inconvenient, I was definitely thinking that I needed a new, more efficient blender after making all these smoothie recipes. I'm not sure what this means for the Smoothie Sunday feature. It might take me some time to get a replacement. ::crosses fingers::
I really like the addition of ginger in this one. It gives it some bite!
StrawBana Ginger Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 large banana, sliced and frozen
1/4 - 1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup non-dairy milk
1 teaspoon ginger
DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.

This sounds yummy! Did you use fresh ginger?
Nah, this was a last minute smoothie so I used ground ginger. I generally take shortcuts like that anyway. The original recipe calls for fresh ginger though.
