I adore my great-grandmother's fruit salad recipe. It's kind of an ambrosia salad, only I have never really liked any other ambrosias I have tried so I avoid calling it that. This one is traditional for my family, we make it often and for special family meals. It's probably one of my favorite foods ever and I would have it as part of my all star meal team. And it's like the easiest recipe ever. No real prep work, just open some containers, dump contents into bowl, mix, and shove in fridge.
Ingredients
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup sweetened coconut
1 cup maraschino cherries
1 cup vegan sour cream1
1 cup vegan mini marshmallows (optional)2
Directions
Mix together and let flavors mingle in fridge for about an hour before serving. You can modify the amounts of each ingredient depending on taste.

You know I bought some veganaise for the first time the other day. I don't eat mayonnaise so I felt guilty about it but was curious to try it. i have to say that stuff is freaking awesome. I'm putting it on everything. Which is bad and means I won't be buying anymore LOL.
Glad to hear you tried it. It is awesome. I actually don't use it that much. There are large jars and small ones...maybe if you bought a small one and tried to ration it? And there is a reduced fat version too, if that helps. They are both still much healthier than mayonnaise.
Vegenaise is definitely good for making certain kinds of sandwiches and salads.
