Bob Barker has been an advocate for animals for years. His signature campaign is for spaying and neutering companion animals and adopting from animal shelters. I remember him always signing off The Price is Right with a reminder to people to "Help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered". But he's been involved in many animal causes, anti-whaling, animals in entertainment, elephants in zoos, animal welfare laws, etc. Check out the Bob Barker vids below. Good stuff.

The two things you remember Bob Barker most for were sleeping around with all his Price is Right models and telling everyone to fix their pets.
Although his morality is somewhat akin to the alley cats he stands up for, I suspect he's honest about his animal protection attitudes. He seems to be, on the surface anyway.
Eh, there are no perfect people in the world. Everyone has weaknesses.
An ideal role model doesn't exist, never will, and so I've merely got a patchwork quilt of the best pieces of people.
