Gene Baur of Farm Sanctuary in AZ

Several years ago, newly vegan, I went to a little presentation and book signing by Gene Baur, co-founder and president of Farm Sanctuary. Farm Sanctuary is highly respected in the vegan community as not only a hands-on rescue group for farm animals and a huge advocate for them, but also an amazing influence on public policy and legislation.

The man is riveting, and not just because of his good looks! I highly recommend everyone go and hear his stories about how Farm Sanctuary began and the difference he and his organization have made since. He will inspire you too.

Gene is going to be in Arizona for two events on Thursday, September 30. Both events are free and open to the public. He will have copies of his book, Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food, at the events. [One hundred percent of the author’s proceeds from book sales go to Farm Sanctuary.]
