Tempe Vegan Bake Sale

Tempe Vegan Bake Sale @ Loveland Boutique

The goodies went fast at the Tempe Vegan Bake Sale (part of the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale), but we had so many great things from people like Rikki Cupcake, Tracy of Strawberry Hedgehog, the Veg-In-Traning, and more, that there were still plates full of deliciousness when I left. Many thanks to Loveland Unique Boutique for hosting the Vegan Bake Sale. Loveland is a great little store with lots of personality, and they have the cutest little Boston terrier tees. Speaking of Boston Terriers, the proceeds from today's sale went to Arizona Boston Terrier Rescue. I'm not sure how much was raised as the sale hasn't even ended yet!

Loveland's Terrier Tees

My Peanut Butter Cups and Cinnamon Donut Holes,
and I think those were Ginger Snaps at the top.

Closer view of my Peanut Butter Cups.

I also brought some big Chocolate Chip Cookies.

More goodies from the rest of the bakers.

My haul!  I hope I get the names right... Sorta clockwise from
top left, Lemon Lavender Cookies, Strawberry 'Cream Cheese'
Cookies, Coconut Lemon Blueberry Bundt Cake, Banana Cream
Cupcake, Raw Truffle, Vegan Cheesecake (on it's side). Oh, and the
Magical Coconut Bars did not make it home for the picture. haha!

I have to say, it's so nice to try someone else's vegan baked goods for a change!  :)  Thanks to everyone who baked, taste-tested, donated, and supported the efforts.

Duke- hahaha.

Tracy- I think every weekend is a bit insane. One guy who wanted one of everything asked if we were going to do this every weekend. Uh, not me! I am a LAZY baker and short-cut chef. This is a once in a while thing for me. hahaha. But next year, sure thang!

Hehe, yeah, two weekends in a row was rough for me, too. Even though I only brought one batch of cookies and leftovers last weekend! Ahh the life of busy people. At least we made time to make a difference once in a while. Wish I had tried one of your doughnut holes, they are sounding really good right now.

My goodies didn't last long, but the memories are still around. I'm wishing I had bought more goodies to spread out over the week! hahaha.

The donut holes are really easy to make if you are interested. I got the recipe from Sarah Kramer's La Dolce Vegan. I can email it to you if you want.

I was so sugared out from baking for two days, I couldn't even try all of the amazingness. I def want a rain check on your PB cups. They looked incredible! All of your stuff did. Every so often I plan a PPK potluck meet up. We'll have to do one this summer...if you promise to bring those ;)
