I love t-shirt advocacy. I love that a person can be fashionable and issue conscious and charitable and an advocate all at the same time. Right now, the biggest campagin on my mind is protecting seals and stopping Canada's Seal Slaughter. Unfortunately, it happens every March. Peta is currently running the campaign, Canada's Shame, and you can find out more about the horrific Seal 'Hunt' at their campagin home base. Monday, March 15 is the International Day of Action for Seals, so help spread the word about stopping the seal slaughter via Twitter, Facebook, email, blogs, and other social media. Other groups working to end the seal hunt: Sea Shepherd, International Fund for Animal Welfare, HarpSeals.Org, and the Humane Society of the United States.
