Hugo Naturals Grapefruit Himalayan Salt Body Scrub

Hugo Naturals is a vegan company. All of their products are free of animal ingredients and they conduct zero animal testing. These days it seems like chemical-free is the way to be. Hugo Naturals are hypoallergenic and composed of natural ingredients instead of harmful chemicals. And if their Grapefruit Himalayan Salt Body Scrub is a good representative of the rest of their natural products, they have excellent personal care products!

I picked up the salt scrub one day when I was shopping at Whole Foods. I get dry skin, especially on my feet and and elbows. I wanted something I could exfoliate with in the shower. I'm not particularly into florals, but I love citrus and fresh water-type scents. So I was excited about this scrub because of its lovely grapefruit smell. I didn't have to soak in the bathtub, and it still moisturized immediately in addition to being a good exfoliator. I really like it. In fact, I've been  overdue to replenish my supply.

I highly recommend this scrub, and I will definitely be checking out their other products. I'm curious about their bar soaps and lip balms. They also have travel packs where you can get a sampling of several products in little containers. I always love when companies do that. It's the best way to determine if you like their goodies without wasting money or products. Stay tuned for more reviews on Hugo Naturals.

i haven't used a salt scrub in forever! does it leave a soapy/slippery film in your tub?

i've used the hand soap from hugo naturals, and i liked it a lot. i've also used their lip balm, and am sorry to say that it was extremely "meh." but i'm really really particular about my lip balm, so maybe other people wouldn't be as picky as i am. ;)

I didn't notice any kind of soapy, slippery film in the tub. It does have little granules that occasionally need to be rinsed away sometimes but not a big deal at all.

I picked up one of the bar soaps and a deodorant from Hugo yesterday and will be giving those a try. I didn't see their lip balm available at my Whole Foods, because I was going to try it. Sadly, aside from my Eco Lips Bee Free, the only vegan lip balm they had was Merry Hempsters Cinnamon flavor and I am not a fan of cinnamon lip balm.
